Professional Associations

Licensed in the State of Illinois - Since 1973, Mr. Foltz has been admitted to practice in the State of Illinois.

United States Court - Since 1976, Mr. Foltz has been admitted to practice in the United States Court of the Central District of Illinois.

Illinois State Bar Association - Mr. Foltz has been a member of the Illinois State Bar Association since 1973. Beginning in 2001, he became a member of the Elder Law Section Council where he served as Chairman from 2007-2008. During his time on the Section Council , Mr. Foltz has published several articles and case notes in various areas of Elder Law. In 2008, he was, also, appointed to the Local Court Section Council.

Illinois Township Attorney’s Association - A member since 1978, Mr. Foltz served for two years as President of the Association from 1994 to 1996. For a number of years, he also served as Treasurer. Foltz is a frequent presenter on township law at various seminars given by the I. T. A. A. and the Township Officials of Illinois. In addition, many of his articles have been published in the association's newsletter.

Piatt County Bar Association - Mr. Foltz has been a member of the Piatt Co. Bar since returning to Monticello. He has served as President as well as organized Law Day activities. Foltz frequently participates in the People's Law School sponsored by the Bar Association.
